Reichstag meets after three months

This Sunday, the Reichstag finally convened after three months of inactivity. Reichstag members were called to meet due to the long period of inactivity in the government and the nation. During the hour meeting, two new bills came to the floor.

The Electoral Commission Appointment Act, proposed by Citizen's Party leader and Etiwanda representative Jayden Hyde, would allow the Reich Chancellor to appoint new members of the Federal Electoral Commission without legislative approval. The bill was defeated 5 to 6, with most members of the Opposition voting against it.

The Executive Power Act, proposed by National Democratic Populist Rosetta Gland, would allow the Reich Chancellor to overrule legislative decisions if he/she viewed them as unjust. This bill was defeated 5 to 7, with one member of the government voting against the bill.

The Reichstag plans to meet every Sunday until the June elections
