Easton and Citizen's win a slim majority after recount
Anthony Easton and the Citizen's Party able to win slim majority this election, with Easton beating his younger brother, Christopher by two votes. The Citizen's Party was able to win the majority in the Reichstag, with the Phoenix Movement becoming the main opposition party.
Easton was declare the winner yesterday after a two day recount, which was conducted after it was confirmed that some votes from Etiwanda were not counted. Easton was able to gain 17 votes, beating his brothers 15 votes. This has caused controversy, as Christopher was ahead before the recount started.
"I don't want to sound like a sore loser," said C. Easton. "But isn't it strange that while I was winning, all of a sudden votes from a liberal state appear out of nowhere?"
Reich Chancellor-Elect Easton has yet to comment on this. The new Reich Chancellor will be sworn in on December 20th, becoming the first Reich Chancellor not to take office right after the election.
