Electoral Commission releases Propositions for Federal Election

The newly-created Austrovian Federal Electoral Commission has released the five propositions that will appear on December's ballot.

Proposition 1 or the "Cannabis Decriminalization Act", is a proposition that aims to end the ban on cannabis-related products. If passed, the ban on cannabis-related products will be officially repealed, and any citizen over the age of 21 can use said products. Proposition 1 is officially supported by the Citizen's Party, while opposed by the National Democratic Populist Party, the National Party, and the Phoenix Movement.

Proposition 2 or the "Integration Act" is a proposition aimed to redefine territorial integration to allow territories with a small population to become a state. If passed, states with a population fewer than 4 will be allowed to hold "status referendums" which would allow a territory to become a state. Proposition 2 is officially supported by the National Democratic Populist Party, the Citizen's Party, and the National Party, while opposed by the Phoenix Movement.

Proposition 3 or the "Foreign Ally and Endorsement Act" is a proposition that aims to give more power the Foreign Ministry in regards to foreign relations. If passed, the Foreign Ministry will be able to create and end alliances without legislative approval. Proposition 3 is officially supported by the Phoenix Movement, while opposed by the National Democratic Populist Party, the Citizen's Party, and the National Party.

Proposition 4 or the "Checks and Balances Initiative" is a proposition that aims to create a checks and balances system with in the Reichsgesetzgebung. If passed, the Austrovian Supreme Court will have to release public reports on the Reich Chancellor and Reichstag. Proposition 4 is officially supported by the National Democratic Populist Party and the National Party, while opposed by the Phoenix Movement and the Citizen's Party.

And finally, Proposition 5 or the "Imperial Census Act" is a proposition that aims to allow the Ministry of State to conduct censuses without Reichstag approval. If passed, the Ministry of State will be allowed to conduct a census without Reichstag approval. Proposition 5 is officially supported by the Phoenix Movement and the National Democratic Populist Party, while opposed by the Citizen's Party and the National Party.
