Freedom Party disbanded; Members are encouraged to "fight on in different parties"
Freedom Party Leader Emily Drake has just recently announced the dissolution of the Freedom Party. She cited the party's poor results in the recent Federal Election and the lack of support of the public.
"With a heavy heart, I announce the end of the Freedom Party," she said in the Austrovian Group Chat.
This news comes surprising to many, since the Freedom Party had retained many of their seats in the election, and only truly lost the Reich Chancellor election. Since now, there are three members in the Reichstag without a party, Drake encouraged her former comrades to join other parties.
"Our fight is not finish. I encourage all of you to fight on in different parties."
Currently only two members in the Reichstag have joined a new party, the Nationals, while the last member, Christopher Easton, brother to Anthony Easton, has yet to join one, saying that he prefers to stay nonpartisan for now.
