The Austrovian Observer: National Populists and Democrats merge to form new party.

In a joint press meeting, Vice Chancellor Daisy Drake announced the merging of the National Populist and Democratic parties. This has become a big shock, since the two parties were former enemies. The party, which will be called the National Democratic Populist Party, will be a liberal conservative party, hoping to attract all sides of the political spectrum.
