The Austrovian Observer: Reich Chancellor Speed enters Austrovia into the Union Against Micronationa
Reich Chancellor Speed has entered the Empire into the Union Against Micronational War. Her decision has seen praise from the Democrats, while the National Populists and Freedom criticize her.
"This is a great day for Austrovia," said Democrat George Irons Sr.
"Why do we need to join useless alliances?" asks angered Freedom Party Member and Reichstag Member for Pretoria Christopher Easton.
The Office of the Reich Chancellor has officially stated that the reason for joining the UAMW is to "prevent future conflicts from happening." Still, this does not answer many conservatives questions.
"There is no such thing as 'micronational warfare.'" says Reichstag Member Ryan Lee. "Every war in micronational history has been either staged or has had no actual causalities."
Daisy Drake, candidate for Reich Chancellor for the National Populists stated that once she is in power, she will try and pull out of the UAMW, but polls show that a slim majority are satisfied with the current status and would not like to see the Empire leave.
