Conservative and newly formed Independence parties have united to form the National Populist Party of Austrovia. The announcement was made last week when the Conservative Party's media secretary Ryan Lee stated the party had intentions to form a union with the newly formed Independence Party.
The National Populists identify politically as Right-Wing. Members believe in National Conservatism and Monarchism. They wish to install a monarchy in Austrovia. Although the idea may seem like a lost cause, but popularity in monarchism has increased since the Separate Government Act, which allowed states too choose a separate government. The States of Hydraria an Effards-Rylandia both chose a monarchy as a government but still seek approval from Congress.
Andy Irons will stay as a candidate for President and Travis Lee will become the Vice Presidential candidate. Both Senator Lee (not Travis) and Emily Drake will become Secretaries of State and National Identity.
